Intro to How to Clone a Funnel in ClickFunnels

Are you looking for a way to clone a funnel in Clickfunnels? Perfect! You are just in time where I will show you the Clickfunnel clone funnel process.

Typically, most funnel builders don’t have this function. This sucks, more so when one funnel has a high conversion rate, but you can’t transfer the same features to another funnel.

It is one of the many reasons I prefer Clickfunnels than any other funnel builder. Check out my comparison of Clickfunnels with Leadpages and ThriveThemes to get the gist.

How to clone a funnel is a new practice, and bloggers might not take it seriously. But those that have done it before understand how it’s essential when you want to record a high ROI.

When Is the Best Time to Clone a funnel?

Before we look at the benefits of cloning funnels, you must first know the appropriate time to do the cloning.

In general, you can clone a funnel whenever you want. However, it should be at the time when you think it is important to preserve certain elements of an old funnel.

The elements must have proved to be relevant before you consider cloning. If they have added nothing to your business, it’s wise to create a new funnel using the available templates.

A few of the elements you would duplicate are the designs, order flow, and layout. With the right calculation, the elements can help in retaining customers. Why? They will recognize the new funnels as the symbol of your brand.

Why Should You Clone A Funnel in Clickfunnels?

The answer is simple. Cloning a funnel in Clickfunnels helps you to create a template based on your customizations. This is one of the core benefits, though.

  • Cloning Creates Similar Funnels

As already hinted, there is a chance that you created a sales funnel that was the tipping point of your business. You generated impressive sales, landed loads of customers, and drove conversions.

Instead of crafting a new sales funnel from scratch, why not create another one from the template-based system by the click of a button? Cloning is that simple.

  • Help a Friend Out

We all have that dear friend that you would do anything for. Cloning a funnel allows you to share the same funnel template with him/her to increase their conversions.

Of course, you have to be a funnel creation maestro and understand the art and science of creating an excellent funnel.  You then share the funnel after testing it.

The person can access it (using their accounts), view, manage, and edit the funnel to rhyme with their needs. The most important thing to note is that they should not mess with the master copy.

  • Cloning Allows you To Test your Current Funnel.

Your current sales funnel may be doing well in terms of conversions and sales. But it reaches a moment in sales where everything comes to a halt.

No new customers, no ROI, and the most painful, you might not know the next step. If you change anything in your current funnels, you are afraid that it will bring the whole thing back to zero, which will be a worse scenario.

Does this sound familiar?

You can now figure out the problem with the Clickfunnels clone funnel process. It allows you to make the changes you want, like tweaking the texts or using new images.

You then decide whether to use the new one after vetting its performance. You will have to stay with the old funnel if the new one doesn’t bring good results. Alternatively,  you can run both funnels simultaneously and see which one works better.

Steps to Clone a Funnel In ClickFunnels

You don’t have to be a website designer or tech expert to complete the Clickfunnels funnel clone process.  The method is similar to deleting a funnel, and it just happens with one click.

Clickfunnels funnel cloning comes in three options. These are discussed below.

  1. Cloning an Element of a Page

The first option allows you to clone your favorite element on a funnel. This can only happen in the visual editor, however.

The process is straightforward. Whether you want to clone a row, section, element, or section, click the “clone” icon at the element’s top right.

  1. Cloning The Pages of a Funnel

This option applies if you don’t want to clone an entire funnel but only a page. Follow the following steps.

I. Select the funnel you are targeting

II. Click on the page you want to clone

III. On the bottom right of the page you have selected, you will see an icon that says “Clone Funnel Step.”

IV. Click on the icon and the page will be added to a drop-down list on the left.

Once through, you can now add it to another funnel. To do this, go to the drop-down menu and click the button that says ADD NEW STEP.

You will see the funnel at the bottom left of the funnel menu. Once done, you can now re-order the funnel page using the drag and drop function.

  1. Cloning A Whole Sales Funnel

This is far much different from the first two options, as you are copying a complete marketing campaign. But the process is similarly effortless.

As always, the first step is logging into your account. You can do this step here.

The second step is choosing the funnel you want to make a copy. On the funnel, go to the settings bar. You will find an icon saying “clone funnel on the top right corner of the page.”

Here is a practical video on How Franklin Hatchet clones his sales funnel which brings him millions of dollars.

Cloning a whole sales funnel allows you to create newer and better variations using the same outline.

If you are very good at this, you can even make money by selling them on the Clickfunnels marketplace. Still, you can use them as gifts to get more subscribers to your mailing list.

Bottomline

Clickfunnels comes with numerous features to keep your marketing campaign on top of your competitors.

Cloning a funnel in Clickfunnels may not appear as a big step to hitting your ROI target. But it’s worth a shot if your current funnels are not meeting the conversion rate thresholds.

So you have your answers if you don’t know how to clone a funnel in Clikfunnels.
